Dave Ramsey Explains How to Reduce Your Debt
One of the best ways to reduce your debt is to budget your money appropriately. This can be done quite easily with the envelope system. This means that you put the money for each thing that you have to pay for each month into a separate envelope for that expense. You can even have one for ‘fun money’ if you want to.
When the money in an envelope is gone, that’s all you can spend on that item that month. Naturally, there can be some differences. However, this is a great way to ensure that there won’t be a bunch of money left over for you to squander.
It helps you save, too, as you can also have an envelope where the money is earmarked for a savings account or some other type of savings plan.
